my home for raya... sethn yg lps...

2008, hari raya preparation.

we decided to make over our home. ape color nak pilih yek? i googles around la for suitable color. came across this

i'm in love with teals and pk2 nk combine dgn color ape ek?. so the most right pics tuh cam okay je. yellow and teal.
so went to find the paint.

suami ku tercinta sangat pandai mengecat. he did the whole apartment. not letting me to touch even a brush. takut tak menjadik, tak nak tangan aku kotor ngan cat lak nanti. hihihi

so the finale adalah ini, though i was not able to go for a more softer touch like the pic tapi it has become bright. mula- mula thought like a kindergarten lak but eventually we like it or must i say i liked it. tak kira ape orang kate.

story about nenek @ grandma

here are my ancestor... all my grandmother. mother of my mother and father.
looking back...i regretted that i wasn't able to spent much quality time with them ( i was quite young than, ignorance )

as we grew older and older... someday we'll turned up like them also. pray to ALLAH we'll be easier to be dealt with Insya Allah.

just a reminder to myself also that since we still have our parents or grandparents with us. treat them 1st class. they deserved it. it was them who has brought us into this world. brought us up with love and fulfilling our needs...when somtimes it's tough to do so.... they created the perfect life for us ( as much as how the know to do so...) no matter rain or shine..they find for us food..give us shelter and provide for us education...

some people would have born with a silver spoon... some may not. how ever it is we were brought into this world with a purpose. He the Almighty knows best and have His reason. we shall appreciate each other and give our love to the fullest to each other.

further more... what's goes around comes around. always remember that Allah is Justice. He is fair towards all of us. treat our elderly kind with the way we want to be treated by when it's our turn to come. wallahhuallam

this is my mom's mother. not biologically but had raised my mom since baby by herself. single parent. i was not able to meet her longer. she died when i was still baby.

here is my father's mother. a very kind and loving nenek. i miss her. i was most close to her and was able to keep a lot of wonderful memories with her. she died when i was still in itm. it was a sudden death and i was not able to meet her the last time... i miss u nenek.

and the pretty lady on the most right is my mother's biological mother. didn't see a lot of her but as times pass by.. we get to see more of her. my mom has a strong resemblance of her... and i also look a lot like my mom... so at times my mom will say that she already knew how she would look like when she grew older and i too would have know how i would look like..hmmmm

so let us recite the Al- fatihah for them and our others' family members that has pass away. Al-Fatihah

abah

dear abah....

my father has been not well in may 2009, we had went for checkup at HKL and initially he was suspected of having a mild stroke but alhamdulillah after a few month we got result from HKL it was actually a slipped disk. and one of the option given was operation. unfortunately the hospital was not informative enough as to suggest other options and possibilities. which is typical of govt hospital.

yesterday we went for our 1st appointment to do phisiotherapy at Ampang Hospital. It went well, the therapist was kind and nice, also jovial. She showed some of the exercise that abah can do at home. we got to know that we could refer to their orthopedic since we needed 2nd opinion and it is nearer to home. so, hopefully asap we would be able to be reffered here from HKL.

we also learnt that we need to keep our posture right and breathing is very important in order for the oxygen to go through the whole body and this will give better circulation for all our organs.

Factors that lead to injury from a slipped disk include aging with associated degeneration and loss of elasticity of the discs and supporting structures; improper lifting, especially if accompanied by twisting or turning; and excessive strain. Sudden forceful trauma is a more rare cause. Quoted from: http://www.emedicinehealth.com/slipped_disk/article_em.htm

p/s:as for abah, you really need to do the exercise and be more active... hopefully next appointment we'll have more improvement

will be more to update..... i'm actually inspired by lou holtz whom was a head coach at notre dame, later got unemployed under pressure and depressed when than was given a book by his wife a David Schwartz - the magic of thinking big. so in a chapter on goals, Schwart writes that anyone who is bores by his life has probably forgotten his dreams. he invites readers to get back in touch with them.

so for the first step, we are asked to list all the things we have ever wanted to accomplish. and it should not be too plain and normal. just as he say let your imagination runs wild. he gotten 107 goals listed and today he has managed to achieve 102 of those dreams. he said that, since than 'we have became participants rather than spectators, in our life. '

this is my fav part. ' you do the same and you'll find you don't want to spend much time sleeping; you'll be afraid you might miss something!'
